You get a run sheet, not a paragraph. Steps in order, each tied to what was measured, each one you can edit, reorder or drop.

Your session stays your session.
The analysis happens on your Mac. What leaves is the summary an answer needs, and only when you ask for one.
- WINDOW-SCOPED
- ALCHMY reads the Ableton window. There is no code path in the app that captures the rest of your screen.
- LOCAL ANALYSIS
- Bar maps, energy and sub-bass contrast are computed on your machine, from audio that never leaves it.
- ON ASK ONLY
- Nothing is sent while you work. When you ask a question, the measured context for that question goes out, and nothing else.
- REVERSIBLE
- Changes land only inside the bars you scoped, and every step can be undone from the run sheet.

- Will it change my project without asking?
- No. Nothing runs until you approve a plan, changes are limited to the bars you scoped, and every step can be undone.
- Do I need to know how to mix?
- No. ALCHMY names what it hears in plain language, shows the measurement behind it, then walks you through the fix one step at a time.
- Will my tracks start sounding generic?
- It starts from what your track is measurably missing, not from a genre preset. You approve, edit or drop every step it proposes.
- What if it is wrong?
- Every claim comes with the measurement it rests on, so you can check it. When something is not measured, ALCHMY says so instead of guessing.
- Does it touch my audio thread?
- The plugin is built to never block or glitch playback. If analysis cannot keep up, it drops context rather than affecting your audio.
